Social Workers

Social workers have a wealth of knowledge and can provide a variety of resources to help find solutions to different problems families might face during difficult times. National Home Health Care Agency has a team of social workers available to speak with you and your family about your options when it comes to home health care. They can also assist you with the application process if needed.

If your loved one is applying for Medicare there are a few conditions that need to be met in order to determine whether they qualify or not. First, their home medical care needs to be authorized by their physician. Secondly, your loved one must need either recurring skilled Nurses aid or physical therapy. Third, they are unable to leave their home without assistance, therefore leaving your loved one homebound. And lastly, the home health care agency you are applying to needs to be approved by Medicare.

All of these qualifying factors and more can be explained by our social workers when you meet with them. They have been in this profession for many years and know how Medicare and other insurances work along with dealing with the emotional side of having to sign up for our services. It’s never easy seeing your loved one in pain, that’s why our social workers can be part of a strong support system for you throughout their recovery.

You and your loved one will be surrounded with a great team starting with our representatives to our nurses, doctors and social workers. We would like to be a part of your loved one’s path back to independence and good health. In saying so, we hope you choose to work with our team of professionals.
